A liquid formulation is specially designed for B.T. cotton varieties to be sprayed 2 ml/L at 45 & 60 days after sowing. Benefits of spraying of B.T.Planto are vigorous but stout growth, more number of branches with more number of heavy bolls on each of them due to suppression of apical dominance. Higher rate of photosynthesis, more nutrients uptake & their mobilization, better pest disease & drought resistance, also contribute more weight of bolls and hence higher yield.
Thioproline content of B.T. Planto protects plants from all kind of stresses, enhances plant metabolism due to better assimilation of nutrients & particularly micro nutrients. As such, use of B.T. Planto assures 20 to 25% higher yield of seed cotton.
